Structured event details
Custom Event Fields in WordPress
Add reusable fields to recurring events, classes, locations, and teachers, validate the right input, and decide which populated details visitors can see.
What this resolves
A clearer way to manage this work in WordPress.
- Fields for events, locations, and teachers
- Seven supported field types
- Frontend visibility per field
- JSON import and export support
Fit the event
Capture the details your programme actually needs.
Experience level, equipment, registration links, age limits, and programme dates do not belong in one generic description. Define structured fields once and make them available in every event editor.

Control what is public
Keep operational data separate from visitor information.
Each field can be required for editors while remaining private, or displayed automatically when it has a value. That keeps the editing workflow complete without exposing internal details.

Portable by design
Definitions and values travel with the schedule.
JSON imports and exports include the field configuration and populated event values. Stable keys keep structured data connected when schedules move between WordPress installations.
