Safe under concurrency
The last credit cannot be spent twice.
Booking creation locks the selected pass, verifies ownership, eligibility, validity, and balance, then writes the booking and its credit transaction in one database transaction. A competing request cannot push the balance below zero.

Every return and forfeiture explains itself.
Normal cancellations, late cancellations, no-shows, merchant adjustments, renewals, and restored bookings append new immutable ledger entries. Repeated cancellation requests reuse idempotency keys instead of returning the same credit twice.

License changes never erase customer value.
When Pro access ends, new pass creation, assignment, redemption, and pass-funded booking stop. Existing pass records, balances, booking references, and history remain stored and readable, and eligible refunds continue protecting ledger integrity.

Create a pass type
Open Events → Credit passes → Pass types, set the credit count and validity, then choose eligible event categories, appointment services, or unrestricted use.

Choose booking and attendance policy
Deduct credits immediately or reserve them until attendance, then configure the late-cancellation window plus return-or-forfeit behavior for late cancellations and no-shows.

Issue or redeem a pass
Assign the pass directly to a registered customer, or generate a one-time merchant code that the verified customer redeems in the frontend dashboard.

Book, adjust, and renew
Customers choose an eligible active pass while booking. Staff can add or subtract credits with a required reason, renew credits, extend expiry, and review the append-only ledger.
