Conditional logic

Configure, verify, and operate Conditional logic in the official Drecha plugin manual.

What this feature does

Create rules for visibility, required fields, and page transitions. Drecha Forms validates dependency graphs and rejects circular logic before a form can be published.

Key capabilities

  • Visibility rules — Show or hide fields and content when submitted answers match explicit, validated conditions.
  • Conditional requirements — Make a field required only when it is relevant, with the same rules enforced in the browser and on the server.
  • Safe dependencies — Circular and missing dependencies are detected during schema validation instead of producing unpredictable forms.

Configure Conditional logic

  1. Choose a target. Select the field or page transition whose behavior should change.
  2. Define the condition. Choose a source field, comparison operator, and expected value.
  3. Select the outcome. Control visibility, required state, or the next page.
  4. Test every branch. Use preview and server validation to verify both matching and non-matching paths.

Verify the result

Open the relevant public page in a private browser window and complete the workflow once. Confirm the saved result in WordPress, test keyboard navigation, and repeat the critical path at a mobile width before sharing it with customers.
