WordPress contact forms

Configure, verify, and operate WordPress contact forms in the official Drecha plugin manual.

What this feature does

Build a focused contact form, publish it with a block or shortcode, store the entry atomically, queue email separately, and manage replies without a submission quota or required SaaS account.

Key capabilities

  • Entries are not email-only — Submissions are stored before notifications run, so an email problem does not erase the enquiry.
  • Layered abuse protection — Signed form tokens, same-origin checks, honeypots, timing signals, rate controls, and local spam scoring go beyond a public nonce alone.
  • Practical administration — Search, filter, read, note, export, erase, and retain entries from a responsive WordPress workspace.

Configure WordPress contact forms

  1. Choose the contact template. Start with the included structure or an empty form.
  2. Ask only what you need. Configure contact details, message, consent, and optional attachments.
  3. Set notifications and confirmation. Alert the right inbox and tell the visitor what happens next.
  4. Embed and test. Add the block or shortcode and complete a real test submission before launch.

Verify the result

Open the relevant public page in a private browser window and complete the workflow once. Confirm the saved result in WordPress, test keyboard navigation, and repeat the critical path at a mobile width before sharing it with customers.
