Submission storage

Configure, verify, and operate Submission storage in the official Drecha plugin manual.

What this feature does

Drecha Forms stores a validated entry before notification jobs run. Administrators can search, filter, mark, annotate, export, retain, erase, and securely access associated private files in the Free edition.

Key capabilities

  • Persistence before email — An SMTP or mailbox problem does not erase the submitted entry.
  • Bounded administration — Pagination and streaming CSV avoid loading an entire entry table into memory.
  • Privacy lifecycle — Per-form retention and WordPress privacy exporters and erasers help administrators operate a documented data lifecycle.

Configure Submission storage

  1. Publish and test the form. Submit a realistic response and verify it appears before relying on notifications.
  2. Choose retention. Set a period that matches the purpose and legal basis for collecting the data.
  3. Review and annotate. Use read state, search, filters, columns, and private notes to process entries.
  4. Export or erase safely. Use formula-safe CSV and WordPress personal-data tools instead of copying raw database rows.

Verify the result

Open the relevant public page in a private browser window and complete the workflow once. Confirm the saved result in WordPress, test keyboard navigation, and repeat the critical path at a mobile width before sharing it with customers.
