Multi-step forms

Configure, verify, and operate Multi-step forms in the official Drecha plugin manual.

What this feature does

Group related questions into accessible pages, choose a progress indicator, validate each step, and route visitors conditionally without making multi-step forms a paid add-on.

Key capabilities

  • Page-based structure — Create logical stages with headings, descriptions, and responsive layouts inside each page.
  • Progress that communicates — Use step, percentage, or compact progress treatments with accessible labels.
  • Validated transitions — Block forward navigation when visible required fields are invalid, focus the problem clearly, and support conditional next-page rules.

Configure Multi-step forms

  1. Split the journey. Group questions into short pages based on the information visitors already understand.
  2. Choose progress feedback. Select the indicator that best matches the number and meaning of the steps.
  3. Add transition rules. Optionally route visitors to different pages from validated field answers.
  4. Preview at three widths. Check each step on desktop, tablet, and mobile before publishing.

Verify the result

Open the relevant public page in a private browser window and complete the workflow once. Confirm the saved result in WordPress, test keyboard navigation, and repeat the critical path at a mobile width before sharing it with customers.
