Understand the required Free core

Drecha Events & Bookings Pro is a separately installed add-on. It requires Drecha Events & Bookings Free and extends the shared activity, booking, appointment, and customer data. Keep Free installed and active.

Pro adds the currently shipped premium features such as recurring schedules, memberships, credit passes, waitlists, advanced appointment rules, transfer tools, and advanced reports. These features become editable only while Pro has valid access. Existing premium data remains stored if Pro is unavailable.

Install Pro beside Free

  1. Open Plugins > Installed Plugins and confirm that Drecha Events & Bookings is active.
  2. Download the authorized Drecha Events & Bookings Pro ZIP from the order or customer download page.
  3. Open Plugins > Add New Plugin and select Upload Plugin.
  4. Choose the Pro ZIP and select Install Now.
  5. Select Activate Plugin when installation finishes.

The Pro plugin declares the drecha-events Free dependency. If Free is absent, install and activate Free before trying Pro again.

Activate a license or trial

  1. Open Events & Bookings > License.
  2. Paste the Events & Bookings Pro license key into License key.
  3. Select Activate license.
  4. Read the returned status message before leaving the page.
  5. If you are evaluating Pro and are eligible, use Start 7-Day Trial instead and complete the trial flow on drecha.com.

Verify Pro without risking live data

  1. Return to Events & Bookings and confirm that the existing Free activities and bookings remain visible.
  2. Create a draft test activity rather than changing a live event.
  3. Confirm that the recurring schedule controls are available on the draft.
  4. Save the draft and verify that its timing remains correct.
  5. Check the relevant Pro menu only for the feature you plan to configure next.

Troubleshoot Pro installation

Pro reports that Free is required

Install and activate Drecha Events & Bookings first. Both plugins must stay active because Free owns the shared runtime and storage.

The License menu or Pro controls are missing

Confirm that Pro is active and that you are signed in as an Administrator. Pro-only runtime services are registered only when Free is available and the license or trial is valid.

Activation fails or the key is already assigned

Copy the complete key again. If the website moved, deactivate the old production assignment in WordPress or the customer portal, then activate on the replacement domain. A local or recognized private development URL does not consume the production activation.

The server cannot reach Drecha

Allow outbound HTTPS requests to drecha.com and check WordPress Site Health for loopback or HTTP errors. A new activation needs the licensing endpoint. Free events and bookings continue working when the license service is unavailable.

Pro is deactivated or a trial expires

Free one-time activities, appointments, bookings, and customer accounts stay usable. Existing recurring content and other Pro records remain stored and readable where the compatibility layer supports them, while new Pro-only changes wait until Pro access returns.
