Understand the workspace

Drecha Events & Bookings keeps event publishing and related management screens under one WordPress administration menu. The enhanced menu groups destinations by purpose while preserving the normal WordPress screens underneath.

Open the event publishing tools

  1. Sign in to WordPress with an account that can edit posts.
  2. Select Events & Bookings in the main administration menu.
  3. Open the Events & Calendar group.
  4. Select All Events to search, edit, publish, draft, or move activities to the Trash.
  5. Select Add New when you want to create an activity.
  6. Use Categories to organize activities, Locations to maintain reusable venues, and Teachers to maintain reusable teacher or host profiles.
  7. Select Calendar to review published and upcoming activities in a month view.

The Calendar screen uses the same published activity data as the public calendar. Selecting an activity takes you back to its WordPress editor so that you can change its content or schedule.

Use the other navigation groups

Bookings & Customers

This group contains the operational screens installed by the product, such as Bookings, Daily Agenda, Appointments, Availability, Services, Customers, and Reports. The exact items depend on the active edition and its enabled modules. Use this group for reservations and customer workflows rather than for editing an activity's public description.

Tools

The Tools group contains Shortcodes. With an active Pro add-on it can also contain Import / Export, Configuration, and Styling. These screens support publishing and administration but are not required to create a basic Free activity.

Settings and upgrade or license screens

Free provides Settings for the reusable duration choices shown in the activity editor. An upgrade screen may explain optional Pro capabilities. When Pro is active, its License screen is also available for trial or lifetime license management.

Manage an existing activity

  1. Open Events & Bookings > Events & Calendar > All Events.
  2. Use the WordPress search field when you know part of the activity title.
  3. Use the status links above the table to switch between published, draft, and trashed records when those statuses exist.
  4. Select an activity title to edit it.
  5. Make the required change and select Update.
  6. Open Calendar when you want to check the activity in its date context.

Free and Pro navigation differences

Free includes All Events, Add New, Categories, Locations, Teachers, Calendar, Shortcodes, and Settings. Pro depends on Free and extends the same workspace. With valid Pro access it adds dedicated One-time Events and Recurring Events views, activity and schedule columns, and additional Tools screens. It does not create a separate set of activities.

If Pro is deactivated, Free continues to show and render shared data. Existing recurring activities remain stored and visible, but reactivate Pro before changing their recurring schedule or exceptions.

Troubleshoot the navigation

A group appears collapsed

Select its group heading to expand it. The interface remembers the open state in that browser. The active destination should open its group automatically.

A menu item is missing

Confirm that the relevant Free or Pro plugin is active and that your WordPress account has permission to edit events or manage the requested setting. Some Pro destinations appear only while Pro access is active.

The grouped menu does not respond

Reload the administration page and check for JavaScript errors or an optimization plugin that combines administration scripts. The underlying WordPress submenu remains the source of the destinations, so you can disable the conflicting optimization while investigating.
