Custom Event Fields in WordPress

Configure, verify, and operate Custom Event Fields in WordPress in the official Drecha plugin manual.

What this feature does

Add reusable fields to recurring events, classes, locations, and teachers, validate the right input, and decide which populated details visitors can see.

Key capabilities

  • Fields for events, locations, and teachers
  • Seven supported field types
  • Frontend visibility per field
  • JSON import and export support

Configure Custom Event Fields in WordPress

  1. Open Event Configuration. In WordPress, go to Activities → Configuration and find Custom event fields.
  2. Choose its content type. Use the separate event, location, or teacher section, then enter a clear label and stable unique key.
  3. Set its behavior. Choose whether editors must complete the field, whether visitors can see it, and add options when using a dropdown.
  4. Arrange and use it. Drag fields into the preferred order, save the configuration, then complete the controls in recurring events, classes, locations, or teacher profiles.

Verify the result

Open the relevant public page in a private browser window and complete the workflow once. Confirm the saved result in WordPress, test keyboard navigation, and repeat the critical path at a mobile width before sharing it with customers.
